Solo road trip across America
THE ROUTE
THE RIG

HI THERE
MY NAME IS ...
HOPE!

THE REASON
This journey was the final leg of my 2020 odyssey. Despite the many cautioning remarks that I ‘shouldn’t travel alone’, I saddled up my Jeep and hit the road.
Seeing the purple mountains majesty and amber waves of grain has been a dream for years. Arguably, creeps left me alone due to the need for social distancing and face coverings. No icky vibes could penetrate my Hope as I weaved between state parks.
When I finally glided to a halt in NYC, I had spent exactly 40 days on the road. I arrived with a strengthened conviction of self-esteem, autonomy, and pride.
Through many misadventures along the way, the road reinstated that the only way through is forward, one mile at a time.
